my friend was just there and sent me this:

Last night we managed to get into a secret speakeasy whisky bar called ‘Golden Promise’ run by La Maison Du Whisky, underneath La Maison du Sake. So started the night with Sake upstairs and then disappeared downstairs for whisky at the front of the bar, and then after a bit of negotiating got into the inner sanctum through a heavy metal door! Wow! Over 900 rare and old whiskies in the cellar…and a whole room of Japanese whiskies! A bloody marvellous evening with just us and Francois!! Feeling it today!

Yeah this is high on the list, any suggestions? Wasn’t aware it was difficult to get in.
