wood boxes-what to do?

The wife is a scrapbooker. She uses them to store her tons of stuff.

Years ago on of my employees came back with a van full of boxes from the local wine shop, they made great for parts storage, kids, now the grand kids use them for what ever.

They work nicely to hold miscellaneous items in the garage. We have boxes for light bulbs, car fluids, yard supplies, etc.

The 12 bottle rectangular boxes I have knocked the bottom & top out of just leaving the four sides, painted them, and used them for above ground gardening.

I use them for extra planting. I have one with peppers and one with cantaloupes this year.

I used mine to hold some potted herbs on my apartment balcony, they only really held up for about 3 months before the conditions got to them and warped all the sides. Now they hold dog toys!

With all of that Screaming Eagle I hope you have some Screeching Weasel albums?

this topic has some great ideas as well: Recycled uses for OWC’s - WINE TALK - WineBerserkers
I have seen some great stuff in pinterest as well

I broke mine down and they are now the ceiling of my wine cellar. Some are also for bulk storage in the both the root and wine cellar. The rest go to the scrap pile.

I use them for small raised beds in my back yard.

Sadly, I also save a few to use as coffins for departed pets.
