OK, then it's settled - 2012 Swan Terrace for me.

That 2008 Horseshoe Pinot has been the bridesmaid about five times. Someday.

I will also open a 2012 Swan Terrace PN, my first Swan. Any chance that Kevin could open up one as well?

Looking forward to another great on-line off-line!

Cheers,

Hal

Now I just have to find it! In a dimly lit cellar, figuring out which Rhys is which is a challenge....

OK, sounds like there is some group interest in the 12 Swan Terrace. I will put that one on my list. I would encourage people opening that wine to give it an hour in the decanter if possible.

I only have a handful at home and my offsite is off-limits...so the 2013 Family Farm Pinot is what I'll crack open.

I’m thinking about 2012 Family Farm or Alpine Pinot. I’d prefer to wait a few years before opening the Swan. Likewise, the Skyline Pinot was amazing at release, but I’m hoarding my 1-2 bottles for awhile.
See you Thursday,

Kevin, please consider also opening 2012 Horseshoe, Family Farm or Alpine pinot as i have half bottles of those and i will be drinking alone.

And maybe either an alpine or horseshoe chard from 2013 as i have 500 ml bottles.

Good morning. Replied to new PMs this morning, everyone who asked should have the link. if you sent me a PM and I have not replied, hit me again.

We've passed the 40 mark and nearing 50 total. Thanks to this support thus far and keep sending me PMs if you would like the link to attend.

And, you can visit the the earlier posts from Kevin and Jeff to perhaps align your choice for Thursday to what they are tasting. If you're constrained from getting into your cellar, do the best you can. The point is to get together, meet the Rhys team, open something Rhys and discuss wine, to beat The 19.

Stay safe everyone.

Will probably do with the 2013 Pinot half bottles what we recently did with our 2017 Chardonnay half bottles: blind tasting of Horseshoe, Bearwallow, Alpine, and Family Farm.

Are Kevin and Jeff going to tell us what all they are opening? We are going to open at least 2 maybe 3 bottles. I think I saw the Jeff was going to open 2012 chardonnays so I’ll do that as well but need to pick a pinot or two. I saw 2012 swan terrace is getting some play but those are really young and was hoping Kevin might open some older stuff.

Paul and Greg, thank you for the posts. As a community, we should find ways to lift each other's spirits and learn stuff together--that's my goal, at least.

Tom, both Kevin and Jeff posted earlier in the thread. And in speaking to Kevin today, he said he would pull some stuff that some of you are opening. My advice is look at their posts above, and then just open what makes you happy and come have some fun on Thursday.

Hoping to join. I’ll do a 2008 skyline Syrah too.

And either a 2009 Horseshoe Chardonnay (or 2010 Alpine)... largely a function of what I have at home.

I am planning on opening a 2012 Alpine Pinot. Any suggestions on whether I should give it any air.
Steve,
I think some air would be great for that wine. Either Jeff or I will open this one too.
I'll open the 12 Alpine Chardonnay and Pinot, and I would also recommend air for the 2012 pinots.

I’ll switch mine to a ‘12 Alpine Pinot.

Since most are going super young, I'm going to try to go dig some sleeping bottles out of storage. I think I can reasonably get to an Alpine (375) and Swan Terrace 2012.

My 2012 Alpines are offsite, so sticking with 2012 Swan Terrace.

I'm going to open a 2012 Bearwallow PN.

For those doing the 2012 Alpine PN, that wine showed very well for me at our Rhys blind tasting we had here at the house this pst January.

Just ordered the Duck Cassoulet from Alinea. Should go well with a Pinot.
