Dinner Tonight 08/14/2013

For dinner tonight, I have on deck double cut lamb chops to be marinated in herb infused EVOO. They will be grilled over hardwood charcoal. Side to be a “Greek Salad”. Ingredients to be romaine, Israeli Feta, cured onions, Cherub Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, pepperonicini and dressing that will consist of EVOO, garlic confit, pinot grigio vinegar, S&P, Dijon and dried oregano.

Would that be blood orange EVOO?

No worry about burning the oil on the hardwood charcoal?

Nope. I only use blood orange EVOO when I have duck involved. Sorry.

Weak.

At least your oregano was dried. There’s hope for you yet.

No issues so far, and I have been doing this for years.

The infused EVOO for marinating has granulated garlic in it in addition to thyme, rosemary, red pepper flakes, lemon peel and Telicherry Pepper.

None in the house currently. I do have Watermelon Oreos.
