Allavino Wine Coolers

I’m looking at the Allavino Flexcount II Tru-Vino 172 Bottle Single Zone Cooler. Does anyone have experience with this cooler or brand?

I was weighing it against the N’Finity LXi. They are about the same price, but I’m not seeing much in the way of reviews or long-term experience. I’d appreciate any input.

I dont have your allavino model but the one I have works so much better than my overpriced eurocave. My allavino holds humidity much better, no frosting on the walls, the temperature stays within 1° compared to the eurocave’s 3° and was about 75% cheaper.

I have an Allavino Vite II YHWR99-2SR20 I bought last October on Amazon so not exactly a long term review. It’s OK. Got an easy dent in the door moving it so be very careful. It gives a somewhat annoying squeak when closing the door like it is rocking back and forth from the door closing. But it holds the wine within a few degrees. It does vary in temp by 6 degrees in its cooling cycle so if that is too much for you then choose another brand. It is better than the cheap tiny fridge I had and better than just in the basement.

Like I said, it does OK and was good for the price. Does not hold anywhere near 99 bottles. More like 63 bottles of burgundy shaped bottles. 7 per shelf is what I get. The bottom shelf does not come out real well but that is OK. Use that for longest term storage. Looks like the “172” bottle version shelves are much closer together.

I have a slightly smaller Allovino cooler and it has worked great for me for the 4 years ive had it so far. I should note I received it without the holes drilled in the door to actually attach the handle, which was a little bit of a hassle, but it ended up working out because I got it for like half off almost since I had to do some work on it.

I have a 100 bottle allavino, it’s great. The build quality is good, it holds temperature steady, good moisture control without condensation. I’d buy one again.

One slightly weird feature is the 2 zone temp control requires a slight temperature gap between zones, so mine is usually like 52 on bottom and 56 on top. It’s impossible to set them for the same temp. Not a big deal because both temps stay steady, but I might get a 1 zone next time.
