Anyone recognize this wineglass?

Thanks!

Perhaps the Riedel Veritas Old World Syrah glass?

Seems a bit ‘sleeker’

This is the closest I could find:

Google Lens search found the glass in an Instagram video for Sur Padilla

I have this Reidel Black Tie Hermitage glass, the bowl looks similar, but this is very tall with a long stem. I totally forgot about this glass, got it as a gift and never really liked it. Kinda pretentious looking. I asked my wife just now and she told me it is in my wine closet in the mudroom. I had no idea I had a wine closet in the mudroom. Apparently that’s where she puts all of my wine stuff, lol. Out of sight, out of mind!

She’s a sharp one :wine_glass::clap:

That was my immediate thought. Stem is not super thin, base has some heft, and the model has a narrower bowl and opening than the bordeaux.

You might be right, the upper part is perhaps longer and sleeker.

That looks like the glass they gave out as gifts at La Paulee a few years ago, I have a couple on my shelf. The narrow opening is distinctive. They make a good champagne glass actually.

It does look similar to the Riedel 002, but the stem in the OP’s pic looks a bit thinner. I just got pairs of Riedel 001, 002, and 003 and they have a nice geometry, but seem intended for situations where toughness matters more than delicacy.

I seem to recall that the 001/2/3 line was designed for restaurant use? But I could be wrong about that.

Yeah they are for hospitality. You can easily feel a crease on the stem as well as where it meets the bowl.

Has a set as a gift from a friend in the business, looks right, sounds right.
