Some people have been able to find allocated bottles available on SAQ.com after the 2nd lottery round. This means that some participants are not even buying what they get through the lottery.
Weird system just got weirder…
You confirmed a lot of my suspicions. The old system was confusing and convoluted to get access to. It’s so easy now to use an existing saq.com account that there much be far more entrants. And yes, not having an obligation to buy after winning changes everything. Strange that quantities used to be higher in the old system, but I have noticed the same thing, for whatever reason quantites are now lower.
I did hear from one person that they found a single bottle with an inventory of 1 on the website after the second round was complete so it’s probably worth scanning through right after the payment deadline for the 2nd round.
