Kapcsandy...

Abreu comes to mind.

Add Sloan to the list of pain, weighing in at $350+ IIRC

$285 is way out of my range. Just dropped scarecrow and schrader for the same reasons.

Maybach is the only napa cab north of $100 that I will continue buying.

Said in a Wizard of Oz voice… Even the great and powerful Schrader is/was $175.

Add Colgin

Really? You need to come over and have a bottle or two of Spottswoode with me.

Hey rob, would love to. I’ve just never bought them since I’ve been buying scarecrow, schrader, et al.

Dominus is also on my radar screen.

I meant that I wasn’t invited to try to purchase any in the first-come/first-served line. Didn’t get the email with the link, and when I logged into the wine store I couldn’t see any GV. Don’t think I would have bought any at $285 anyway.

Bryant? Futo?

185, 285, 385… This wine is basically a form of currency now. Either you drink it and enjoy it (which I will), or use it for trading for other stuff… or use it as “ritzy offline admission fee”…

RMP pretty much guaranteed that 285 is the rock bottom price for the 08 (and probably 07 as well now).

Hundred Acre? Bond’s SVD’s must be close to that number, too, no?

I was really bummed to see the $285 price point. I simply cannot afford that, and I was seriously considering it in the $200 range, which would have made it one of the priciest wines I’ve ever purchased.
