Another good eats is Habanos at Caloosa Cove Marina on Little Matecombe/Islamorada. Delish vaca frita.
Indeed
Tiger Bar looks SO cool. We’re planning to stay at H2O this year so a short walk.

In KW past December. Lola’s was very good for dinner and is byo.
We stayed at that little timeshare at CC years ago.
Cute.
Anyone done Nine One Five in KW?
Back in KW in 8 days and will check it out as we extended at Stock Island Marina until the 1st of March.

Anyone done the seaplane?
Considering for this year.
Also waffling between H2O Suites and Almond Tree Inn. If H2O, we’d spend most of our time there. If Almond, will likely add excursions like Tortugas.
Plus (@ToodH ), Almond is next door to Tiger Bar.
We’ve always taken the Yankee Freedom boats, because you see good seabirds on the way. About 2 hours each way, if memory serves.
Haven’t done the seaplane, or tortugas. Didn’t eat at 915 either…
But I did relax a bunch, then moved the boat to Marlin Bay.
El Siboney is tasty. Looks a mess. Both locations.

We’ve had many meals at Fisheries
Don’t really care for the Reuben though.

It’s a regular sized bottle—it’s just a small world after all.
Happy Anniversary HRH—celebrating 36 years of mutual toleration.[:D]
Little Pearl for dinner last night (quite good btw).
Hot Tin Roof tonight.
We’ve ticked most of the KW boxes
(Fish dip, conch fritters, Cuban coffee, Papa Doble at Sloppy Joe’s, buying a tacky trinket, fave lunch spot, chase the chickens, stand in front of the Truman House and yell THE BUCK STOPS HERE…)
Still need a slice of pie but there’s always breakfast tomorrow.
I’ll report on the dinner at Hot Tin Roof
El Siboney… you havent done KW unless youve eaten there. but Im biased

There are things to see, and things you can not unsee.
and btw, the cafe at Key Largo Fisheries is great if you ever get that far north.
Not sure I have enough “lack of self awareness” for GofE
We miss Kyser, the boozehound in my avatar. He thought that he owned KW.
Well, I’m in Aventura now… but we booked February and March at Stock Island for next year.
Just seeing this thread.
Congratulations Scott!
Surprised nobody has mentioned Louie’s Backyard.
I haven’t been there in a long time but it was always terrific.
