I wonder how Grapes would grow in the Pasadena climate. 60F in the winter and 105F in the summer. Lol
I’m sure they would reflect the “unique Pasadena terroir.”

Maybe we can make Sauternes. . . ?
Charlie, that’s probably a bit COOL for some Douro varieties…
So I can’t make pinot noir in my backyard? I even have a natural fertilizer, my dog poo’s like 1lb a day
I’ll barely eat the grapes coming off my arbor, so the case of Concorde Cuvee is probably out of the question.
Ever seen this vineyard? www.pbase.com/dellybean/image/98691367
<<Mental note: Do NOT drink Fu’s Domaine du Husky pinot noir no matter how reportedly good the vintage>>
Down in the OC here, there are 2 distinct b/yard vineyards. One is off of I-5 heading south just before Envoyer and the Oso exit. On the hill below Nellie Gail, like 3 blocks. Easy to see from the 5. The other is really front yard, up off Nyes and PCH in Laguna. Ocean view, terraced vineyard thatis visible from PCH but you have to know what you are looking for but it’s a good slope, lots of vines. Both visible from Google Earth. Each would have some viticulture challenges for sure. I have a hunch there is a 3rd vineyard, also off I-5 as you head south down by me off the Camino Cap exit. Up on the hill in Peppertree Bend, way at the top. I have to get a closer look at it but I think it may be vines, too.
