I had a similar issue with Myriad shipping my bottles from the spring offering in April, in high 80s degree heat here to Fort Lauderdale. The response I got was that the bottles should be fine but if they’re not, to let them know. I have since cracked open a semillon bottle and it was great, no issue. That being said, it seems like there are some shipping issues that really shouldn’t occur.
If the wine is going cold chain there really isn’t any cause for alarm. An 80° day is no big deal if the wine goes out cool. I’ve had boxes left on Khalid front porch in the blazing afternoon sun and the bottles were not warm to the touch after opening the box.
