Post-IPNC Oregon Pinot Noir Blind Tasting, 2008 Vintage, 7/27/15

That’s what vacation days are for.

guess I’ll need to take a vacation day!! Signed up.

Also Pinot Flu.

I haven’t signed up because I have taken on much more around here lately and making decisions about what days look like months in advance is daunting. I think I should wait list it and see what happens and if a spot opens up I can haul myself and my undoubtedly poor attitude down there.

Jim, you and your indubitably poor attitude will be missed. We’ll have to elect a stand in curmudgeon for you if you can’t make it.

Marcus, being that ornery is something you need to earn.

Jim, J & I will bring Dixie cups and a small folding stool in case your schedule frees up.

Please E-mail me if you’re interested in a Van from Portland.

Sounds like it’s time to change the date of your anniversary! [snort.gif] Sorry that you won’t be able to make it.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Sorry to be missing it! We’ve got some 2008s if anyone is in need…

So we’ve got 7 and a maybe, so far confirmed:

Shane
Steve and Sandra
Chas
Jeff H
Durstin

I’d like to get 4 more to keep the cost reasonable. Anyone else interested?

It looks like I will not make it back to OR in time for the festivities, so I’m going to bow out now. Can I still put a wine in the line up? Love feed back…

I will drop off about 48 stems in early July.

I vote yes!

I think you should sneak in a syrah just for shits and giggles.

That’s funny.

Todd, sorry you’ll miss the event but psyched to try your 2008.

Ron, I’m sure nobody would notice a Cayuse or SQN in the mix!

Sorry to hear you won’t be making it Todd…and thanks for the wine offer.

Andy, Ron was probably referring to Todd’s Syrah which is unusually restrained/elegant and might sneak through a Pinot tasting…in California. [wink.gif]

[winner.gif] Trimpi is a damn mind reader. Yep – I love Todd’s syrah! I still have a few of his 07s and they are sweet.
