Reccos for London & Amsterdam

Thanks. But we are booked and paid so I will hope for the best. Thinking about bringing wine, but Burgundy is so damn fickle. Couple of interesting bottles on the list. Or I could hit Berry Bros & Rudd. Not sure if they go in for this sort of thing.

Had two good meals. This was one of them, very good food. On the level of being in Italy. Very good wine list and service.

Hi John,
for your London trip may I suggest our London guides on Star Wine List, a guide to great wine bars and wine restaurants, www.starwinelist.com. I started it because I thought there are so many restaurant guides in the world but not enough that are focused on us wine lovers.
We publish the wine lists of many of the venues and you can also search for a wine and see where it’s listed.

Would love to hear if you find it useful and whatever feedback you may have.
(I will also second the recommendation above about Noble Rot but I am biased as I’m an investor in it!)

All the best
Krister

Hotel in Amsterdam: Pillows Ana van den Volden. Small boutique hotel located very close to the lovely Vondelpark (sort of ams central park) and at walking distance to Rijks and Van Gogh museums. Very nice staff, lovely.

Restaurant. As others already pointed. Cafe the klapel is not to miss. Had a wonderful time there yesterday.
