The links you provided didn’t go through…might be my computer…

In any event, the world’s your oyster-there’s gotta be a billion possible responses, but I’ve been particularly turned on by Languedoc reds, Spanish reds, Spanish whites (rueda, esp.)…

Good luck.

It’s your computer… they work on mine.
Thanks for your advice and suggestions but it is only italian wine list

The producers that I know on those lists are almost all very good producers. They’re lists chosen with a lot of attention. So it all comes down to what food you’re having and how much you want to spend. I’m sure that they have a sommelier or trained wait staff to help you and I shouldn’t worry about getting stuck with a loser there. Have a great meal!

Claude thanks for your insight.
I was asking for advice on any particular wines of good value on a list that to me seems rather overpriced.

The markups look high across the board. At moderate prices: For red, the Bonarda Oltrepo Pavese ‘Carlino’ sounds interesting, and for somewhat more, the Cerasuolo di Vittoria or either the Langhe rosso (Nebbiolo) or the Langhe Nebbiolo ‘Gavarini’ – but that’s just personal choice (e.g., I generally don’t like Chianti). I know the producers for the last three and they’re all good. For white, probably the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, the Grecanico, or the Vermentino Sardenia, or the Pieropan Soave classico, but I don’t know any of the producers of those wines except Pieropan.

Thanks perfect. thanks much. BTW, Corkage is allowed so I packed a Soldera Brunello…Just looking for white now.

I enjoy the Terlano whites. FWIW, the regular 06 PG is still drinking well. For the red, I would go with the 96 La Gerla.

I actually wouldn’t worry too much about the wine, it’s a great, great place to eat
