Thanks,
Culinary Dropout was quite enjoyable. Maple and Ash is also very good.
I live here. Some of my faves:
Virtu
Atlas Bistro (really the only byob in town)
Ocean44
Francine
Lon’s at Hermosa Inn
Toca Madera
If you feel like venturing out closer to DT PHX:
Pizzeria Bianco
Lom Wong’s
Anhelo
Persepshen
Mora Italian
Thanks for the suggestions! I will look these up and make some reservations.
I only know of one restaurant in Scottsdale that allows BYOB. That would be Giuseppe’s on Scottsdale Blvd. Small place and cash only no cards.
The food is good and the atmosphere is a little different sometimes not bad just different.
Love the meatballs
Atlas bistro is BYOB.
as mentioned above. Looks good on paper
So solid suggestions here.
Course is a newish restaurant from a former head chef at Atlas, Cory Oppold. His food is wonderful.
For other venturing, Bacanora takes SW food to a new level.
Did a quick overnight trip down to Scottsdale this week. Primary purpose was to tour Taliesin West, but also to reconnaissance on Scottsdale area. Hotel was in Old Town.
Lunch on day 1 at Flo’s Chinese in a non descript strip mall on Frank Lloyd Wright. Punched above its weight, as good strip mall ethnic restaurants do.
Dinner last night at Mission in Old Town. Nice atmosphere on the back patio, excellent service, and really good food. Like this place. Wine list was a bit pedestrian, so I wish I could BYOB (but, hey, it’s AZ…).
Early meal at Breakfast Club this morning was solid, if unspectacular. But it’s always good to get back to our red rocks in Sedona…
