2010 WillaKenzie Estate Pinot Noir Emery - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (10/2/2014)
medium ruby, ripe cherry nose. Tart, dry tannins with medium friuit and body. Acid dominant, pie cherries, blackberries, roast beef, tart moderately smooth tannins with just a hint of bitter on the PnP. Drinking nicely with strong acids to carry it along for a good future. Always one of my favorite WK wines. Night two, red fruits acid forward, currants and rare beef steak with tart tannins. These '10s are some of the best WK for my palate. (91 pts.)
