Wow, wow, wow! Incredible bottle of Zinfandel, fresh black and red berries, great depth and structure, chewy mouthful of goodness. From beginning to end it’s a pleasure to drink. Exquisite balance, a truly transformative bottle. I really don’t think one can do much better than this. My WOTY.

Heard great things about LL. Want to try it.

I highly recommend you do. Their Zins up and down the lineup are very enjoyable.

The 2015 (posted in the charity thread) was wonderful last week.

Thanks for the tasting note, Brian! [cheers.gif]

Limerick Lane used to get a lot of traction on the WB forum a couple of years ago. It’s one of the finest producers of Zinfandel-based wines I have ever encountered. I think my favorite to date was the 2012 “Rocky Knoll” Zin, but the '13 “1023” Syrah/Grenache blend, the Furmint/Hárslevelü white blend, and the estate RRV Zinfandel wines were all phenomenal!

I still have a bottle of the 2013 “1910 Block” Zin I have yet to open.

We opened the 2013 “1910 Block” last night. What a treat! Looking forward to drinking the rest of it this evening, and seeing how it has evolved over 24hrs. It’s a big zin, but it’s nicely balanced. I’m a huge fan of LL.
