12.0% abv. Pale straw, expressive aromatics. The flavor profile is very similar to Aeris’ Etna Bianco Superiore - saline stone and sharp citrus - but the wine seems somehow friendlier, less edgy and more accessible than its Italian sibling. Complex, distinctive, and very tasty. A great first effort from Centennial Mountain. Really nice.
Lovely note. I really love Etna whites. Thanks for the reminder.
Day 2 - even better, if anything. What makes this wine unique is the deep richness combined with the stony flavor intensity.
Yeah, Mike… my take as well. It’s how Kevin would make a MtEtna Bianca in Calif if he could. Ohhh, wait… I guess he can!!
