Decanted 8 hrs. Lots of ripe strawberry on the nose, you could almost sell it as being pulpy, some spices and a light touch of wood and some intrigue. The palate starts of the same, a little baby fat in the early going, after the first class this recedes and a more complete wine emerges. The strawberry profile gains in clarity and focus, some really lovely acidity works as a conduit for a refreshing splash mid palate, and some touches of soil on the very respectable finish. No harm in opening now, and over the next 10-15 years I think. (91 pts.)

been opening 2012, 2013, 2017 for wife to Pungo last year or so. She really enjoys them.

Almost popped one the other night. Think I’ll hold off. Thanks for the impression.
