Why water spots on Grassl but not Zalto?

For some dry January is an option, for others a necessity.

LOL! This man also gets it.

Running the dishwasher at a restaurant was my first job in high school. After a month or so I advanced to pots & takeout–washing pots from the day’s prep work, and assembling takeout orders. The completed orders were handed off to the hostess (a girl a year ahead of me at the same school) through a little sliding door above the counter. I was efficient at the job and had time to chat up the hostess through that little door; we ended up dating for a few months.

I don’t know. Both kinda sucked.

I have the same dishwasher. I have never had a problem with spotting on the Grassls (or Riedel Somms for that matter). There was one exception – a Grassl (I think Cru) that the other day was covered in spots. Really noticeable. I then just ran it through again and it was fine. I would say this is one incidence out of more than 100 glasses cleaned in the dishwasher (probably well above 100). I do have some different generations of Grassls, so don’t know if that is an issue. I will keep an eye out!

DW had a conveyor belt. Unjamming it or cleaner the screens wasn’t much fun.
