Wines you drink the most of

Arnot-Roberts
Ridge
Rhys
Jean Foillard
Huet

For the most part, I buy mixed cases so repeated consumption of a single producer is uncommon for me. That being said, when I look through my notes, I need that I have had a decent number of wines from:

  1. Raúl Perez
  2. Sandlands
  3. Yves Cuilleron
  4. Paolo Bea
  5. Bloomer Creek Vineyard
  6. Jerome Chezeaux

I don’t keep specific numbers, but I’m sure it’s Taittinger CdC by a very large margin.
Dom Perignon probably second and then Krug and Dom Ruinart are most likely third and fourth.

Syrah.
The better producers that don’t cost too much.
From anywhere, except Oz.
Best, Jim

What kind/region of wine I drink the most of is a very different question, with a very different answer set, than what producer or single wine I drink the most of.

By region, it is

  1. Red Burgundy
  2. Germany
  3. White Burgundy
  4. Red Bordeaux
  5. Champagne
  6. California Cab
  7. Loire Chenin Blanc
  8. Piedmont Reds
  1. Anthill Farms
  2. Carlisle
  3. Arnot-Roberts
  4. Bedrock
  5. Tablas Creek
  6. Ceritas
  7. Sandlands

Sicily (Terre Nere, Calabretta, Valle dell’Acate, Passopiscrio)
Piedmont (Vallana, Proprieta Sperino, Elio Sandri, Guido Porro)
La Rioja (LRA, LdH, Ontanon, Riojanas)
Loire (Pepiere, Chidaine, Baudry, Pinon)
Tuscany, (Monsanto, Felsina, Giacomo Mori, Rocca di Frassinello)

Wines you drink the most of has turned into producers your drink the most of.

Producers in the past few years, excluding sold, from CT:

  • Rhys
  • Prum
  • Selbach oster
  • Schafer frolich
  • Cayuse

It didn’t “turn into” it - it started that way. That’s what the OP listed in answer to his own question, by way of example. Not individual wines.

Ah ok. i should say: A title of “wines you drink the most” turned into a posting on “producers you drink the most”.
Nothin’ wrong with that!

Variety of Bordeaux (left and right reds)
Tempier - reds and rose
Rhys - pinots mostly
Beaucastel - mostly reds
Variety of other Rhone reds (N&S) from there

I like the cut of your jib, sir! [cheers.gif]

Martinelli
Peter Michael
Kistler
Tommaso Bussola
Turley

Drilling down a little further, it’s basically a flat footed tie between the following:

Dönnhoff Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spätlese
Dönnhoff Oberhausen Brücke Riesling Spätlese
Dönnhoff Estate Riesling/QbA (same wine, different name)
Edmunds St. John Rocks & Gravel

I had a 2013 Rocks and Gravel last week - outstanding. So much verve and tension both aromatically and texture wise. Certainly in a great place!!!

last six months the wines I have drank the most are
LdH 2008,2009 Cubilla
Various Patricia Green pinot
Soos Creek palliades and soleil
St Cosme CDR
Various Albarino
Argyle vintage brut

Using CT info spanning 2007-2018:

Trimbach
Truchot (gasp! “ value $290,253.87/cost $3,056.17)”)
Bachelet
Jadot
Grivot

Petit Chateaux -

My cellar has always been about 40% cheap Bordeaux. It’s what I use for a house red, gifts, party wines etc - the usual appellations - I start drinking them at 5-6 years of age.
