Your QPR of the Year - 2013

Rivers-Marie Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir for me…a screaming value. Both 2010 and 2011.

The Cabot Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2010 is right there as well.

Have you tried this?

Obsidian Ridge and 2010 Chateau La Tour de Bessan @ $20.

2011 BigVine Zin on Lastbottles right now

Damn. Nice job, Costco.

2008 Melville Syrah Donna’s
2010 Carlisle Sonoma Zinfandel

Two producers that give you great value!

see below…

WHITE:
Qupe Y Block Chardonnay 2011
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2011
Billaud-Simon Vaillons Chablis 2007
Ojai Bien Nacido Chardonnay 2010
Scholium Midan Al-Tahrir 2010

RED:
Westrey Oracle Pinot Noir 2009
Grand Veneur Origines 2000 (there was lots on the secondary market for $25)
Lanessan 2009
La Vieille Cure 2009

That Monsanto is great

Red: 2010 Joseph Drouhin Côte de Nuits Villages
White: 2012 Collestefano Verdicchio di Matelica

2011 Rio Madre Rioja - $8

I learned about this wine from CGCW which scored it 91. Yes, I have had three bottles and I agree with that score. The winemaker, Kent Jarman, makes wine for Joseph Kent Wines, Kenefick Ranch, Coupe de Foudre, Somerston and Sinatra Family. Surprisingly, the 2010 Napa Cabernet under this label is disappointing.

Come to think of it:

Reyneke Reserve 2003
Shiraz
Stellenbosch

This was a gift, but it was listed at $25-35 online

This is, indeed, a great deal. I bought a bunch. They still have some at my local Costco.

2009 Domaine des Tours VDP.

Drank this last night. What a fantastic bottle.

I stick with Dick! [cheers.gif]
This wine has lost the glue smell wich was very present years ago!

+1 RM Panek - Love how a ~$100 TRB Cab can be QPR.
+1 Massican SB - Dan is blowing up and rightly so.
+1 Anything Broc Cellars. Chris is absolutely killing of late.

I miss wine, I’ve had hardly anything this year due to a new baby-- who I’ve got to grab out of the crib right now. Bye!

Wine will be here. What you’ve got is way better. Jealous.

2006 Lazzeretti Brunello di Montalcino @ $38/btl - great QPR for a BdM
