Good news for YOU ‘newbies’ as well!

Thanks to the trusty BerserkerDay Council (sounds so freakin’ fancy, no?) we will have all KINDS of instructional zoom videos that will be live, with guests, and recorded, so we’ll have instructions for those who are participating as sellers and separate ‘how to’ videos for those hoping to ruin their marriages through credit card destruction

1. Because people love the 3 or 4 pack intro wine offers from newbies I think it’d make sense to have 3 newbies pool their offer into a case, 4 bottles of each in the sampler pack. There would be some logistics involved. Save on shipping/etc and the sum would be greater than the parts.

2. Lopawines needs to do a 6 pack sampler of grower champagne. He’d sell a ton to people that don’t have access to that category or have heard so much talk on WB. I was working with him on it 3 years ago before the tariffs brought everything to a halt.

One note: those of us in Napa are likely still deep in the throws of harvest come 10/27, which may limit the ability of some to participate.

Interesting that harvest is still in play - hate to hear that, don’t want this to prevent participation. It won’t be as crazy as BerserkerDay, on purpose, more measured, and not with the extreme madness of BD (or so I hope!). That said, should I look at another date? I have to be careful not to get too close to BerserkerDay, or even Thanksgiving…

Open to suggestions, as Napa won’t be the only place in the throws of harvest

The timing is a tough one for this year since we’re obviously past a window where you could do it over the summer. The later into November that you move it the higher likelihood in a “normal” year that those in Napa have slowed down (I don’t know what normal is anymore so I put it in quotes). With that being said, I’ve had vintages where we’re crazy busy right up until Thanksgiving.

Given your constraints and the fact that it’s now early August I don’t have any great ideas other than to see how the date this year impacts those in Napa participating.

If NewbiePalooza is anything remotely close to BD Preview Day the participants will be kept pretty busy fielding questions, customer support, posting in the forum, etc.

FYI, I’m finalizing the sign-up form for Monopole Crü members (to sign up as ‘tasters’ for the Newbie samples) and will have it posted later today in the MC-only forum.

Working on the Newbies as well, so if anyone has any other suggestions, please have them reach out to me, I’ll forward to the Council and communicate with them directly. Referrals where a participant shares the info about BerserkerDay to the prospective Newbie are always the best chance of success.

It’s likely we’ll be moving the date, in consideration of the Napa/Sonoma area wineries, who will be in the throes of harvest at this time…possibly moving to first week of November, happy to take in any more info and direction as possible!
